Natural Swim Ponds
The concept of a natural swim pond (NSP) is an exploding trend in backyard leisure & landscaping. A fully functional swimming area is aesthetically merged w/function & filtration that operates w/minimal maintenance & NO CHEMICALS associated w/standard swimming pools!
The aesthetics of installing a natural swim pond allows for viewing enjoyment of a natural looking water feature for all 4 seasons of the year! Unlike the stereotypical rectangular pool w/a concrete deck, the NSP's add to the landscape even when not in use.
Now, the biggest advantage: No swimming pool chemicals! Mother nature filters the NSP without chlorine or bromine additives. Typical swimming pools subscribe to a concept of, "kill everything but the swimmer!" The chemicals used are far from healthy for the swimmer or the environment as well as being a costly maintenance product when the pool is being used.
